1. Ok — why another search engine?

Quest•Able is unique in what it doesn't offer as much as what it does. It is a family-safe and friendly search tool. The default option is for safe-search and can not be overridden with improper keywords, etc. Of course you can try really hard and maybe get past the filter, but why do that? Almost every search engine on the web today let's you look for anything you want, and we DO mean anything! Here at Quest•Able we try to keep it clean, safe and fun!

2. It's all part of a community

Quest•Able is part of the A Point Of Faith Ministry's community of Christian websites. As such, it offers services that are made specifically for those who are looking for a safer environment in which to do their research and web exploration. We can't garauntee other sites, but we strive to make Quest•Able as wholesome and fun as possible.

3. Alright, tell me how does it all work?

Our search engine uses the freely available Yahoo! search-engine api (fancy for plugin software). The difference is we set it so only clean and family-safe search results are returned. Results are linked to other search sites as well, to more accurately find what you are looking for (click on the

in the "Also try" green box).

We also offer specific and specialized search from other websites. We don't steal their content, we simply act as a gateway to their specifically targeted resources. Of course that means we are very selective in whose resources we choose to link to. We make sure that these sites are also up to your high standards and are a good place for families to use their services.
